What Inspired Time To Sleep

MY STORY
My journey began in 2022, during my work as a nanny for a family whose daughter had recently been sleep trained. For the first time, I observed what truly healthy sleep looks like from inside a home. Bedtime was calm and predictable. She fell asleep easily, stayed asleep through the night, and woke up rested and happy. Her parents were balanced and confident, and as her nanny, I felt that stability too. Our days were smooth, routines were simple, and everything felt easier. That experience showed me the impact that sleep has on a family’s entire dynamic.
In 2024, I worked full-time with a new baby whose sleep experience was the complete opposite. Naps were short and inconsistent, nights were filled with multiple wakings, and everyone—especially his parents—felt exhausted. I felt it too. Each day started already tired, and I spent hours bouncing, rocking, trying new things, and guessing what he needed.
Eventually, the family brought in a professional sleep consultant. The shift was immediate. With structure, clarity, and a gentle approach, he learned to sleep independently. By the third night, he slept through the night for the first time. His mood changed, the parents felt restored, and my role became calmer, more predictable, and far more sustainable.
Seeing that transformation for the second time shaped everything. I understood how powerful sleep is for both children and caregivers, and I knew I wanted to help other families feel that relief.
This led me to become certified through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting. I chose the name "Time To Sleep" because it was a simple, clear key phrase I used every night as a nanny. It became a predictable cue the baby recognized, helping him understand that it was time to wind down and feel safe. The phrase felt natural, gentle, and effective — and that is exactly what I now teach: clear, consistent routines that help children feel calm, supported, and ready for sleep.
MY APPROACH
I offer gentle, responsive sleep methods that focus on connection, emotional safety, and gradual progress. My goal is to guide your baby toward independent sleep while still feeling supported, reassured, and understood.
I don’t encourage Cry-It-Out. While some families choose that method, it’s not the approach I work with. The parents who come to me are looking for a calmer, more hands-on and supportive process — one that aligns with their values and feels emotionally safe for everyone involved.
Every plan is adapted to your family’s comfort level and your child’s temperament. Whether you’re co-sleeping, room sharing, transitioning to the crib, or wanting a slow and steady approach, I create strategies that truly fit your home and your goals.
Sleep training is never one-size-fits-all. I help you understand the “why” behind each step so you always feel confident, informed, and supported as your baby learns new sleep skills.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER
Families see results because they receive a clear, personalized plan and supportive guidance from start to finish. I tailor the approach to your baby’s temperament, your comfort level, and your family’s routine, so you’re never left trying to guess the next step on your own. You get structure, clarity, and the perspective of someone who understands sleep both as a caregiver and as a sleep consultant.
Every child responds differently, and I cannot guarantee exact results. However, most families experience meaningful improvements within the first week. Many babies begin sleeping through the night in seven days or less, and progress often starts within the first couple of days.To hear how this process has helped others, you can read the testimonials from families I’ve worked with.
You’re invited to schedule a FREE 15-minute discovery call. During this consultation, we’ll discuss your child’s sleep patterns, your family’s goals, and the type of guidance you’re looking for. I’ll outline what the process entails and what families typically experience when we work together. This call is designed to give you clarity and confidence as you explore your next steps.
